Work it is!

I decided to hold out on taking classes. I just have so much going on right now and can't seem to find the time to add something else!

This weekend is our biggest weekend of the year, Family Weekend. I just got home from our tailgate which pretty much flooded to say the least. It's literally been raining for a week. Everyone was muddy, soaked and just not the happiest. BUT, it's over! We just have one more event tomorrow and then I'll have my life back!

Fun things coming up:

Sept 24- Grease in B'ham
Sept 26- Amelia's Wedding!
Sept 27-28- Home for 2 days!
Oct 16-18- Hang with Nicole
Oct 17- Emalee's Wedding
Oct 24- Julia in town/Halloween Party
Nov 6-10- Anaheim, CA for NODA
Dec 13-15 -San Diego, CA to pick up Kaitlin from Semester at Sea
Dec 18-20- G'burg with the KD's

Lots to look forward to!

New interests: I'm really obsessed with CNN.com right now!

Back to School?

So I had my first doc class tonight and I have a big decision to make by tomorrow evening! Do I continue with my PhD at Alabama or hold off? I'm having a hard time, there are many benefits to going through with it but also some sacrafices that come a long with it!

I'll be doing a lot of thinking and praying tomorrow but I know the right thing will work out!I'll keep you updated!

Also, I started teaching again and I think my class will be a lot of fun. We have some outgoing freshman who all seem to love college so far so that's always great!! Hopefully I'll have some good stories to share soon!

Introducing Gracie Lou!

Gracie arrived on Friday after a long trip from Indiana. Mom and Kaitlin brought her down along with their new puppy Emme. The 2 puppies entertained us for the weekend and I certainly had a full house!

So far, all is going well. I'm working really hard on getting Gracie house trained as soon as possible!!

Boston

I traveled to Boston for a work conference and the whole family (minus Dad) joined me up there. We did a lot of shopping, saw Legally Blonde's broadway production, went on a DUCK tour, visited Harvard, and ate a lot of clam chowder. Mom also ate a lot of Lobster!

Boston was so pretty in the fall but I think the fam decided that we are a beach family! We couldn't exactly make decision on what to do, it was quite humorous. It was also interesting working all morning and then sightseeing all afternoon but it was well worth the hardwork!

NODA (the conference I attended) was amazing. I met some wonderful professionals and learned a lot. I also got to catch up with some grad school buddies which was fabulous!!!

A WKU Wedding!

Stacey's wedding was a lot of fun!! It was a perfect day and the reception was lots of fun. I wanted to mostly post some pics of the bride and her beautiful day! It was great to be back on Western's campus!
